According to Variety, Warner Bros. has picked up the remake rights to Chan-Wook Park's Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance with Brian Tucker (Broken City) set to write the screenplay.

Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradianare going to be producing via di Bonaventura Pictures.

In the film, two women that two different men love most are killed. The men then set out on a mission of revenge.

Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance is one part of Park's famed Vengeance trilogy. Another film in the series, Oldboy is currently being remade by Mandate and Vertigo.
