Warner Bros. picks up the rights to the Joe Hill's first novel Heart Shaped Box. If the name Joe Hill doesn't ring a bell, just take a look at who his father is - legendary thriller author, Stephen King.

Variety says the story revolves around a singer obsessed with the occult who buys a ghost on eBay in the form of a man's burial suit. He's ultimately forced to confront both the ghost and the demons of his own past.

The novel Heart Shaped Box won't be published until next year, but Warner got an early peek at the book and made the deal; at that time, neither McCormick nor Goldsman were aware that Hill had a famous father.

Heart Shaped Box has no production schedule as of yet.
