Warner Bros. Pictures has picked up the rights to the historical crime novel, Interpretation of Murder from Jed Rubenfeld.

The book revolves around a young psychoanalyst and devotee of Sigmund Freud's, says Variety, who is called in to consult when one of the women attacked survives, but is unable to speak or remember what happened.

Interpretation of Murder was recently published, and was released in stores earlier this month; no details on production schedule for the film.
