On September 12, Warner Brothers is getting it's Superhero on!
Will our favorite superheroes be able to stop the latest villains from destroying mankind? Warner Home Video (WHV) and DC Comics will put that question to the test with the releases of The Batman: The Complete Second Season and Teen Titans: The Complete Second Season on September 12, 2006, marking the debut of the complete second season on DVD for both properties.
WHV will release the Emmy-winning animated series, The Batman: The Complete Second Season, which currently broadcasts on Kids WB Network. In this second season, Batman will fight against the most complex foe of all, the Riddler. Only Batman can stump this evil genius and the likes of the Joker, Mr. Freeze and Penguin. From his battles, Batman forms an unlikely alliance with police detective, Jim Gordon who is devoted to making Gotham City safe again.
When there's trouble, you know who to call: TEEN TITANS! Members Robin, Cyborg, Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy and the newest teen super hero, Terra will combine their awesome powers to save earth in Teen Titans: The Complete Second Season, available as a complete season boxed set. From the smash hit TV series which was consistently rated among the top ten shows for boys 9-11 among kid cable networks, Season 2 follows the Titans as they befriend Terra, a free-spirited teenager with incredible earth-manipulating powers and a knack for fighting crime.
However, trusting this newcomer could prove to be a fatal mistake for the Teen Titans when their arch nemesis Slade tries to win her loyalty. Terra's volatile powers and personal vulnerability makes her the perfect target for his twisted plans. In 13 action-packed episodes on 2 discs, the Teen Titans battle their way to victory against the most destructive villains and face unexpected roadblocks along the way.
