Warner Bros. is bringing Scooby Doo back to theaters in a new animated adventure, with Matt Lieberman writing the screenplay.

Plot details are few, and it's not clear whether this will be CGI or a hand drawn animation project. Charles Roven and Richard Suckle will be producing.

The producing pair were responsible for the live-action Scooby Doo starring Freddie Prinze Jr., Sarah Michelle Gellar, Matthew Lillard and Linda Cardellini. They also brought the sequel Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed to the big screen two years later. Both project brought in over $450 million worldwide.

No production details have been released.
