Warner Bros. has announced the dates for three new DVD releases today, with The Majestic and The Affair of the Necklace set for late June, and A Walk to Remember set for early July.

The Majestic (June 18, 2002)

This Capra-esque Jim Carrey drama is set during the 1950s blacklist. Two-time Golden Globe winner Jim Carrey (Man on the Moon, The Truman Show) toplines a stellar cast as Hollywood screenwriter Peter Appleton, the victimized writer who falls under the suspicions of the House Un-American Activities Committee during their ongoing investigation of Communist influences in Hollywood. Barred from his studio, Appleton loses his job and his identity only to find new courage, love and the power of conviction in the heart of a small town.

This DVD will feature the Movie Within the Movie: Sand Pirates of the Sahara - (starring Bruce Campbell), additional scenes, the theatrical trailer, a 16x9 widescreen format, and English and French versions with subtitles.

The Affair of the Necklace (June 25, 2002)

Academy Award(R) winner Hillary Swank stars in this romantic drama based on the controversial true story of Jeanne De La Motte Valois, a countess whose name was stripped from her by the Royal Family during the late 18th Century. The story of her fight to restore her name and proper place in society is filled with mystery, intrigue and desire, with an infamous diamond necklace at the center of it all.

This DVD features the Behind-the-Scenes Documentaries "The Affair of the Necklace: The Making of a Scandal" and "Designing Affair." It also features commentary with Director Charles Shyer, additional scenes,a gag reel, the theatrical trailer, a 16x9 widescreen format, Dolby Digital 5.1 Audio, and English, French and Spanish subtitles.

A Walk To Remember (July 9, 2002)

This coming-of-age love story is set in North Carolina and follows the rite of passage of a jaded, aimless high school senior (Shane West) who falls in love with a guileless young woman (Mandy Moore) he and his friends once scorned. The two develop a powerful and inspirational relationship in which they discover truths that take most people a lifetime to learn.

This DVD features the Mandy Moore Music Video "Cry," audio commentary, actor filmographies, the theatrical trailer, a 16x9 widescreen format, and English, French & Spanish subtitles.
