Hot on the heels of the /first-look-at-charlie-brown-and-snoopy-in-peanuts/first two sneak peak photos released last night, the first teaser trailer for the upcoming Peanuts movie has arrived. Based on Charles Schulz's most popular comic strip of all-time, the Peanuts are back in theaters for the first time since 1980. Good Grief! Check out the first trailer below.

Producer Craig Schulz, one of Charles' sons, is helping bring the gang back to the big screen for the comic strip's 50th anniversary.

"It's long overdue," says Schulz. "The fans have been asking for a long time, but we held off until the time was right."

"I'm way more protective than my father would have been," says Schulz. "Our No. 1 goal was always to be authentic to his work and legacy."

Peanuts includes a screenplay from Craig's screenwriter son Bryan and his writing partner Cornelius Uliano.

"With my father's work this is three generation of Shulzes on this film," says Craig.
