Apple TV+ unveiled the teaser trailer for WeCrashed, a highly anticipated new limited series based on the hit Wondery podcast 'WeCrashed: The Rise and Fall of WeWork'' from Lee Eisenberg and Drew Crevello. Starring Academy Award and SAG Award winners Jared Leto as Adam Neumann, Anne Hathaway as Rebekah Neumann, the limited series also features Kyle Marvin, alongside America Ferrera and O-T Fagbenle. The series is inspired by actual events and the love story at its center. WeWork grew from a single coworking space into a global brand worth $47 billion in under a decade. Then, in less than a year, its value plummeted. What happened?

WeCrashed is created by Eisenberg (Spirit Award-nominated Little America, Good Boys) and Crevello (The Long Dark), who also serve as co-writers, executive producers and co-showrunners and is directed by John Requa and Glenn Ficarra (This is Us, Crazy Stupid Love). Requa and Ficarra executive produce alongside Charlie Gogolak, Hathaway and Natalie Sandy. Leto and Emma Ludbrook executive produce through their Paradox production company and Hernan Lopez, Marshall Lewy and Aaron Hart executive produce from Wondery.

Adam Neumann admits that the instant success went to his head, but also relayed to CNN, "We had a fun culture, but first let's start with the fact we built a global brand and in over 110 cities in over 40 countries," he said. "We became a household name. So that culture had a lot of things that worked really well. But there also comes a moment where you grow out of that to the next stage. I think that could have happened sooner." While Neumann ultimately stepped down amidst allegations of financial illegalities and accusations of widespread drug use, he appears to have a new outlook, explaining, "I'm not the same," he said. "There was a moment where we thought [the money] was all gone. [My wife] Rebecca looked into my eyes and told me, 'We're okay.' If you can have your loved ones and your family and your friends, things will work out in the future. Take it as a lesson. Enjoy the journey and be present."

WeCrashed is in good company with telling the tales of tech upstart dramas. It joins Showtime's upcoming anthology series Super Pumped, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Travis Kalanick, notorious co-founder and former CEO of Uber, and Uma Thurman portraying Arianna Huffington, the businesswoman and co-founder of The Huffington Post, and Uber board member. We also have the upcoming miniseries The Drop Out, from Hulu starring Amanda Seyfried. The series is described by the streamer as "an unbelievable tale of ambition and fame gone terribly wrong." The Dropout is largely adapted from the ABC Radio podcast with the same name. Author John Carreyrou's 'Bad Blood: Secrets and Lies in a Silicon Valley Startup,' published a year after Elizabeth Holmes' empire started to fall.

WeCrashed will premiere globally on Apple TV+ with the first three episodes on March 18, followed by new weekly installments, each Friday during its eight-episode season through April 22.
