The Lego Movie already has several familiar characters appearing in LEGO form, such as Batman (Will Arnett), Superman (Channing Tatum), Wonder Woman (Cobie Smulders) and Green Lantern (Jonah Hill). Now, a new report reveals that characters from the Star Wars universe will be featured as well.

It hasn't been confirmed which exact characters will appear in this animated comedy from Warner Bros., although an insider close to production reveals that an announcement is coming in the near future. Unlike all the previously-mentioned characters, DC superheroes which are owned by Warner Bros., the studio behind The Lego Movie, the Star Wars characters are owned by Disney. It is possible that Warner Bros. struck a deal with LucasFilm before it was purchased by Disney in October 2012. The LEGO and Lucasfilm universes have already collided in the recent animated TV series LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles, which debuted onThe Disney Channel earlier this year.

Phil Lord and Chris Miller direct The Lego Movie, which follows an ordinary builder named Emmet (Chris Pratt), who is enlisted to help defeat the nefarious Lord Business (Will Ferrell) from gluing the entire LEGO universe together.
