A chance encounter leads to a quick make-out session in our exclusive deleted scene from the new comedy Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, which debuted on Digital HD earlier this week ahead of its Blu-ray, DVD and On Demand debut on June 28. This scene features Kim (Tina Fey) who runs into Nic (Stephen Peacocke), which leads to an awkward and quick make-out session, while Iain (Martin Freeman) gets some rest. This comedy, based on a true story, hit theaters in March.

Based on real-life reporter Kim Barker's revealing and funny memoir about covering the war beat in the Middle East, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is a sharp and savvy film that critics are calling "boldly entertaining." A satirical take on combat journalists and an illuminating story of self-discovery, the film follows Kim (Tina Fey) as she decides to shake things up by taking a dangerous assignment in Afghanistan. There, in the midst of chaos, Kim discovers her true strength as she risks it all to find the next big story.

The film, which was previously titled The Taliban Shuffle, features an all-star ensemble cast including Margot Robbie (The Wolf of Wall Street, Suicide Squad), Martin Freeman (The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey), Billy Bob Thornton (Fargo) and Alfred Molina (Spider-Man 2). The supporting cast includes Nicholas Braun, Sheila Vand and Evan Jonigkeit. Glenn Ficarra and John Requa directed from a script by Robert Carlock, based on Kim Baker's book.

The Whiskey Tango Foxtrot Blu-ray Combo Pack with Digital HD includes over 45 minutes of bonus content. Take an extensive behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film, and catch an in-depth interview with Kim Barker, upon whose memoir the film is based. The Blu-ray also includes deleted and extended scenes and much more.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot only earned $23 million during its brief run at the box office, where it was sandwiched between a pair of superhero blockbusters, 20th Century Fox's Deadpool and Warner Bros.' Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Of course, we don't know for sure if those movies directly impacted Whiskey Tango Foxtrot's box office run or not. If you didn't get a chance to see this comedy in theaters, take a look at our exclusive deleted scene from Whiskey Tango Foxtrot below, before picking up the Blu-ray, DVD or Digital HD version.
