2004 saw the release of White Chicks, a comedy film that had a great reception from the audience, but not so much from the critics. This production was directed by Keenen Ivory Wayans and starred Marlon and Shawn Wayans, who also contributed to the script. White Chicks follows Marcus and Kevin, two FBI agents who, having failed in several missions, are entrusted to escort two young heiresses of a tycoon to a weekend-long fashion event in The Hamptons, with the aim of protecting them from potential kidnappings. Unfortunately, they are involved in a car crash on the way, and once the girls discover the minor scars that were left on their faces, they decide to skip the event. Not wanting to fail a mission again, the agents decide to impersonate them for the entire weekend out of fear of losing their jobs. However, infiltrating these girls' social circles will prove to be a lot harder than they think.

White Chicks was poorly reviewed by critics and even got five nominations for the Golden Raspberry Awards, but it still managed to gross $113 million worldwide and build up a huge fan base that turned the film into a cult classic. Five years after its release, a sequel to the film was announced, but it was eventually canceled. Rumors about this new production started to circulate again in recent years as actor Terry Crews hinted that there were talks of a possible sequel. However, for the moment, the rumors have not been officially confirmed. As we wait for any news on this potential sequel, let's take a look at the current projects of the White Chicks cast.

Wayans' most recent gig in the industry was a small cameo role in the 2016 animated series Animals. Potentially, the White Chicks sequel could also mark his return to the silver screen.
