King Arthur:IGN FilmForce reports that, excluding the roles of Lancelot and Alecto, the rest of the major parts have been cast in Jerry Bruckheimer's epic, King Arthur.

Joining Keira Knightly as Guinevere, Stephen Dillane as Merlin, and Clive Owen as King Arthur are Stellan Skarsgard (Exorcist: The Beginning, Deep Blue Sea) in the role of Cedric; Joel Edgerton (Star Wars: Episode II, Ned Kelly, The Hard Word) as Gawain; Ken Stott (Plunkett & Macleane) as Marius Honorius; Ray Stevenson in the role of Dagonet; Sean Gilder as Jols; Pat Kinevane (The General) as Horton; Valeria Cavalli (Double Team, Everybody's Fine) as Fulcinia; Ray Winestone (Cold Mountain)as Bors; Mads Mikkelsen as Tristran, Hugh Dancy (Black Hawk Down) as Galahad; Til Schweiger (Driven) as Cynric; Charlie Creed-Miles as Ganis; and Ivano Marescotti (The Talented Mr. Ripley) as Bishop Germanius.

King Arthur begins filming this summer in Ireland under the direction of Antoine Fuqua (Training Day). Jerry Bruckheimer (The Rock, Bad Boys II) will produce. Oscar-winner David Franzoni (Gladiator) penned the screenplay.
