Warner Bros. has acquired a new Western spec script entitled Wild Guns, which Gianni Nunnari will produce through his Hollywood Gang production company.

T.S. Nowlin wrote the script, which is set in the aftermath of the Civil War and features legendary gunslingers Doc Holliday and Wyatt Earp teaming up to rescue the kidnapped daughter of Sitting Bull. The young girl was abducted by a Shaman with supernatural powers who has been causing havoc throughout the old West.

John Ridley will also produce for Hollywood Gang alongside Gianni Nunnari. No production schedule was released for this new Western project. The project was said to be a mix between Sherlock Holmes and Tombstone. Kurt Russell portrayed Wyatt Earp and Val Kilmer played Doc Holliday in Tombstone.

T.S. Nowlin also recently sold a spec script entitled Columbus to Relativity Media, a biopic on famed explorer Christopher Columbus. He also has a project about another explorer, Marco Polo, in development at Endgame.
