It looks like the end of Arrested Development has officially happened. Will Arnett, who played 'Gob Bluth' on three seasons of the FOX show has made a deal with Paramount and Dreamworks for his own film, The Ambassador.

The Hollywood Reporter says the film, written by Michael Schur (The Office), and executive produced by Will, centers on a former U.S. vice president's privileged son (Arnett will star as the lead), who is assigned an ambassadorship in Europe, where he quickly becomes the quintessential ugly American.

Look for a shooting time frame of late this year for The Ambassador.
