PredatorLunch is reporting some interesting news on Predators. This film, that Nimród Antal is directing and Robert Rodriguez is producing, has been generating a lot of buzz since some character and behind-the-scenes featurettes went viral. Now however, that buzz is going to be facing a pretty rough test.

A source close to Predators is saying that a CG version of Arnold Schwarzenegger (who made an appearance in McG's ill-concieved Terminator Salvation) is in fact going to be making an appearance in this new film.

Now, if that isn't enough to make the fanboys shudder in horror it also looks like Danny Glover, who starred in Predator 2, is also going to be in Predators as a CG character.

Nobody from Rodriguez's Austin Based Troublemaker Studios would return our phone calls, but Rodriguez did hint in an interview that we did with him at the San Diego Comic-Con that we maybe could expect such things to be happening in the film.

"This is a whole new world in this movie," Rodriguez said. "I can't say too much right now but I really want to combine all the films into one film in the sickest way. It's as if Predators will be a prequel, a new film and a sequel all in one. Think about that... three movies for $10... well, $14 if it's in 3D!"

The director, like many others, also cited the influence of another movie that takes place on another planet.

"Look, Avatar is the biggest movie ever. It probably will be for a long, long time. I think it's apparent, especially with the success I've had, people like anything that comes out of a computer. Like I told Quentin Tarantino, 'we're just giving people what the want.'"

"That's stupid," was all Danny Glover would say about the idea of being a CG character in the film. He is currently making the press rounds promoting Neil LaBute's new film Death at a Funeral.

Predators stars Topher Grace, Adrien Brody, Alice Braga, Danny Trejo, and Laurence Fishburne.

It comes to theaters July 7 from 20th Century Fox.
