It seems that a likely-cancelled CW series may have a new life in syndication. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Reaper may continue as a Sunday-night syndicated series on the CW.

The show hasn't been officially cancelled, although it seems to be a near-certainty, and ABC Studios has been in talks with CW affiliate stations to continue the series. CW recently announced it was giving its Sunday night programming back to its affiliates, and many affiliates have expressed interest in continuing the series with original episodes.

It was said that the series is also looking into other options on cable, but both are said to be longshot scenarios. Series creators Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters have recently signed a deal with Fox and one of the series stars, Tyler Labine, starred in the pilot Sons of Tuscon which was recently ordered to series by Fox.
