The news recently broke /emily-blunt-and-jason-segel-in-talks-for-gullivers-travels/here that Emily Blunt (The Devil Wears Prada) had signed to appear in the upcoming Gulliver's Travels with Jason Segal and Jack Black, however we also /emily-blunt-up-for-iron-man-2/recently learned that Emily Blunt was the front runner to play the Black Widow in Iron Man 2. Now, according to SCI FI Wire, the conflict between those two films shooting schedules may keep Ms. Blunt from taking on the role of the Russina super-spy/secret agent/superheroine in the follow-up to 2008's Iron Man.

It seems that Twentieth Century Fox has an option on the actress due to her role in The Devil Wears Prada, and they may be able to force Blunt to appear in Gulliver's Travels if the scheduling issues could not be worked out, forcing Marvel to go back to square one to find someone for the role of the Black Widow in Iron Man 2

That said, at the present, representatives from Fox and Ms. Blunt are optimistic about her ability to appear in both films.
