Fly on the Wall: According to Variety, Will Ferrell is turning his attention to insects.

Bob Cooper's Landscape Entertainment has set up at Universal the pitch Fly on the Wall (working title), penned by "Emperor's Club" scribe Neil Tolkin.

Comedy, which sold for high-six figures, is being developed as a potential starring vehicle for Ferrell.

The film centers on a down-on-his-luck lawyer whose life starts to take a turn for the better after he innocently saves the life of a fly.

Ferrell is filming the soccer comedy Kicking & Screaming for Universal.

He will next star in DreamWorks' Anchorman, set for release this July. Upcoming projects also include Winter Passing and Woody Allen's Melinda and Melinda.

He is also set to star in Bewitched opposite Nicole Kidman for Columbia Pictures.
