Will Gluck has gotten the ball rolling on two new comedies for ABC and Fox. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gluck has set up an untitled single-camera comedy about a construction crew at Fox and a series entitled The Frozen Family at ABC.

"It's The Office from a blue-collar point of view," Gluck said of his construction project. "Throughout one season, we will go to someone's real house; we'll tear it up and build it up again."

He added that the series will tie in to our troubled economic times as well. "People are not buying to sell but to live," he said. "It's a nesting syndrome; they are fixing their houses to live in them."

Gluck's The Frozen Family, which was sold before the writers strike, wil revolve around a family-owned frozen food business.

No production schedule for either series was released. Gluck also has his feature directorial debut, Fired Up, in the works for a March release.
