Earlier today, Sony Pictures held a Google+ Hangout with The Amazing Spider-Man 2 stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan and Marc Webb, where they answered questions from the fans about this superhero sequel. During the chat, Marc Webb revealed that the wants to bring in The Daily Bugle editor J. Jonah Jameson in The Amazing Spider-Man 3. Here's what he had to say about the prospect of replacing J.K. Simmons, who played the character in Sam Raimi's original Spider-Man.

"I like the idea very much of him coming up in the next film. It was more easy to accept a new Spider-Man than somebody who could out do J.K. Simmons in that role, he is so iconic. That's something we've really talked about. Obviously I love that character because he poses such an interesting dilemma for Spider-Man. The answer is I don't know, but I think you can expect to see him in the future."

J. Jonah Jameson has been featured in /j-jonah-jameson-bashes-spidey-in-amazing-spider-man-2-daily-bugle-viral/The Daily Bugle viral website, where the editor bashed Spider-Man for the millions of dollars in damages he has caused while fighting crime throughout New York City.
