While Michael Jackson's This Is It's advanced ticket sales have been through the roof, it seems the concert promoters that put the film together are making quite a bold claim. Deadline Hollywood Daily is reporting that concert promoter AEG has predicted Michael Jackson's This Is It will make, "$250 million in its first five days."

It was also reported that the film is number one in ticket sales on Fandango - still two weeks from release - even beating out this weekend's new releases. The film will open on October 28 in approximately 3,000 theaters domestically and an additional 8,000 screens internationally. When the site reached a Sony insider for a comment on the monstrous prediction from AEG, the insider responded, "I dont know what they're talking about. That would be bigger than Spider-Man and Harry Potter. It's an event, but it's still a movie."

While the film is slated for just a limited two-week theatrical run, the site is also reporting that AEG is planning on bringing the film back to theaters at a later date, although it wasn't specified when.
