William Fichtner has signed on to star in season 2 of the hit FOX drama, Prison Break.

Fichtner will play a federal agent assigned to track down and capture the escaped convicts, says The Hollywood Reporter. The second season of Prison Break will focus on the manhunt for Michael (Wentworth Miller), Lincoln (Dominic Purcell) and the other inmates who successfully broke out of prison at the end of Season 1.

Season 2 of Prison Break will begin in the fall on FOX.
