William H. Macy is turning to television for his next paycheck. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the classically trained actor will be starring in TNT's one-hour drama series Family Man.

The show revolves around Macy's character, Todd Becker. He is a respected father of three, an outstanding member of the community, and a criminal. Yes, that's right. At night, when his neighbors are asleep, Becker is ringleader to a bickering gang of burglars.

Macy wrote the script with his writing partner Steven Schachter, with Schachter set to direct the pilot. The hope is that the show will be turned into a regular series. It will premier in 2008.
