William Monahan and Quentin Curtis have purchased the rights to Ken Bruen's crime novel London Boulevard with the intention of bringing it to the big screen. According to Variety, Monahan is in the process of writing the script and he will make the film his directorial debut.
The plot revolves around a South London career criminal that tries to give up the gangster life to become a handyman after he is released from prison. He soon falls for the young actress he has started working for.
The film does not have a set start date at this time.
