The Wonder Woman 1984 trailer just dropped at CCXP in Brazil and fans are going wild for it. Along with this first look footage, DC and Warner Bros. also brought along a series of new character posters. These are perhaps most interesting because they give us our first real glimpse of Kristen Wiig as the villain Cheetah.

Earlier today, director Patty Jenkins and star Gal Gadot arrived at São Paulo, Brazil, where they put on a Wonder Woman 1984 livestream event. They were joined by quite a few cosplayers before dropping the official trailer, which many have been earnestly waiting for ever since Wonder Woman became a blockbuster smash hit back in 2017. Now, get ready to head back to the height of the cold war in Wonder Woman 1984.

The new character posters from CCXP give us a fresh look at Gal Gadot as Diana Prince. She has traded in her traditional Red, Blue and Gold ensemble for gold armor. Chris Pine is back as Steve Trevor, and he looks fresh in an 80s outfit that comes complete with Tom Cruise aviator sunglasses ala Risky Business, Casio watch and a gold fanny pack. Then we have Kristen Wiig in her Cheetah print attire. It doesn't look like she will actually be transforming into a wild jungle cat, but we're still early and this could be revealed at a later date.

If you've been wondering what The Mandalorian looks like unmasked, here you go. Pedro Pascal, who plays the bounty hunter in the first-ever live-action Star Wars TV show, stars as villain Maxwell Lord in this Wonder Woman sequel. On the TV series, Mando is never allowed to take off his mask. As it turns out, quite a few fans of the show have no idea this is the guy behind that now iconic silver mask made of Beskar.

The official Wonder Woman 1984 synopsis explains that, "Wonder Woman squares off against the Cheetah, a villainess who possesses superhuman strength and agility." No other plot details are revealed but you can get a pretty good idea what this sequel is all about from the new trailer that just launched.
