Kristen Wiig's Cheetah from Wonder Woman 1984 has finally been revealed. We've seen her as mild-mannered Barbara Minerva from official and unofficial set photos, but not as Cheetah. Patty Jenkins and Gal Gadot are delivering the first trailer this weekend at the CCXP in Brazil. Fans have been waiting a long time to get a real look at the highly anticipated sequel, especially since it was originally going to hit theaters a lot earlier. However, the studio decided to go with the summer blockbuster date instead, which was probably a wise decision. The trailer release comes just days after Marvel Studios dropped the first trailer for the standalone Black Widow movie.

The first look at Kristen Wiig's Cheetah comes to us from the floor of CCXP. She appears on a set of cups from Wonder Woman 1984 and it looks like Patty Jenkins decided to go with a more-grounded look, as opposed to something over the top like the upcoming Cats big screen adaptation. Wiig could pass as a Madonna wannabe since the year is 1984, which is when Like a Virgin was released and propelled the pop star into a new realm of popularity. Cheetah's shirt looks like it has claw marks and Wiig is making claw shapes with her hands.

Kristen Wiig's Cheetah is also wearing a leopard-print jacket with a matching skirt. Patty Jenkins definitely went for the 1984 theme in Wonder Woman 1984. One of our first official looks at the movie even featured Chris Pine's Steve Trevor in a mall wearing some awesome 80s clothes with a fanny pack. With the trailer set to officially debut this weekend, we should get an even better look at Wiig's Cheetah, unless Jenkins is going for the more secretive approach. We'll find out soon enough.

It's unclear at the moment if Kristen Wiig's appearance on the Wonder Woman 1984 merch is her full appearance as Cheetah. It's certainly a lot more flamboyant than what we have seen so far from Barbara Minerva, so this could be what she looks like transformed. It's entirely possible that Patty Jenkins went with a more drastic CGI look too. Warner Bros. has done a really good job at keeping details surrounding the sequel under wraps and they still have quite a long time to go since it doesn't hit theaters until June 2020.

Wonder Woman 1984 will find Gal Gadot's Diana Prince up against Kristen Wiig's Cheetah and Pedro Pascal's Maxwell Lord. Chris Pine's Steve Trevor will also return, though it's not clear how. It is generally believed Diana will make a deal with Lord to bring Trevor back to life, but that has yet to be confirmed at this time. Maybe Gadot and Patty Jenkins will reveal some more story information this weekend at CCXP.
