Anyone who doesn't quite jive with Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman may be even more disappointed to know what could have been. Megan Gale, who stars in Mad Max: Fury Road, was originally set to play Diana Prince in director George Miller's Justice League Mortal. But as history has it, that Warner Bros. project fell apart, and never saw the light of day. There is a new documentary in the works about everything that went wrong. And the official Facebook page has shared an official photo of Megan Gale in her Wonder Woman costume. This is what they had to say about it.

"An official shot of Megan Gale's Wonder Woman via Mark Rogers Photography. Mark released these pictures via his website and is in no way connected to our documentary. What do you think? We've loved the design ever since we first saw it."

Some may agree that this is a lot cooler than what we're getting in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, while others may simply think it's too close to the comic books upon which it was based. Before Zack Snyder set out to introduce this popular DC Comics superhero in his upcoming blockbuster, which will be followed by her appearance in Justice League Part 1 and Justice League Part 2, George Miller had planned to bring all of the DC heroes together in his own epic. Though the film was cast, and some preproduction work had already been done, it was canceled. And all the behind-the-scenes drama is going to be captured in Miller's Justice League Mortal. But as the official site claims, the documentary itself is not yet moving forward at this time.

"Please keep in mind that until all involved parties have given us the green light to move forward; this project is still a 'proposed documentary' as stated in the original Inside Film Magazine interview. The film will not delve too deeply into the unfortunate circumstances that brought about the films cancellation - instead it will be a 'love letter' of sorts to George Miller's vision and the team that was working tirelessly to make it a reality."

Since the documentary was first announced earlier this year, we've gotten to see quite a few concept art pieces and other items from the movie. Thesse latest photos were snapped by famed photographer Mark Rogers. The design is a little more traditional. And it is quite a bit more colorful than the toned down, earthy palate on display in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

What do you think? Do you like George Miller's take on Wonder Woman better than Zack Snyder's? Do you think Megan Gale would have made a better Diana Prince than Gal Gadot? Or are you glad that this is one superhero movie that never got off the ground?
