ABC has pulled the plug on its controversial cross-dressing series Work It after just two episodes. The network will air repeats of Last Man Standing in Work It's Tuesday 8:30 PM ET time slot.

Work It debuted with a modest 2.0 ratings and 6.1 million viewers overall on January 3, and was down 20% after its second episode. The series also caused quite a stir with critics who lambasted the show. Groups such as The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) and the Human Rights Campaign also publicly spoke out against the show, saying it had a negative impact on the transgender community.

Amaury Nolasco and Benjamin Koldyke starred in Work It, which centered around two male friends who can't find a job in the current economy. Desparate for work, they dress up as women to score new jobs.
