After recently joining the cast of Universal Pictures' comedy Trainwreck, WWE Superstar John Cena has signed on for another comedic role in Universal's The Nest, alongside Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

The story centers on two sisters (Tina Fey and Amy Poehler) who decide to throw one last party in their childhood home, after learning that it has been sold. No concrete details have surfaced regarding John Cena's character, but the actor/wrestler will reportedly be playing a villain for the first time, after spending more than 12 years as WWE's iconic hero, both in the ring and in WWE Studios action vehicles such as The Marine and 12 Rounds.

John Cena joins a cast that also includes James Brolin, Ike Barinholtz, Maya Rudolph, Madison Davenport and John Leguizamo.

Jason Moore, who directed the hit musical comedy Pitch Perfect, is directing from a screenplay by Paula Pell. No production schedule was given. John Cena is currently shooting Trainwreck, and his other film credits include performances in Legendary, Fred: The Movie and voicing John Cenastone in the animated feature Scooby-Doo! WrestleMania Mystery.
