With Deadpool hitting theaters this weekend, Ryan Reynolds was been making the press rounds over the weekend to promote this superhero adventure. The movie has already been tracking well at the box office, with analysts predicting it could make between $55 million and $60 million on opening weekend. While most are expecting an official announcement for Deadpool 2 in the near future, Ryan Reynolds revealed in an interview with FilmStarts that his "priority" now is to bring the Merc With the Mouth into 20th Century Fox's X-Force movie. Here's what the actor had to say below, when asked about the future of his character.

"There's so much material to mine in just the X-Men universe. In the future, if we're doing a bunch more Deadpool movies, we're really going to explore the X-Men a lot. We'll see. And maybe X-Force - X-Force is my priority. I really want to get that in."

Earlier today, we showed you a viral video from X-Men: Apocalypse star Olivia Munn, who was showing off her sword-handling skills as Psylocke, which also featured a brief cameo from Ryan Reynolds. Since both Deadpool and Psylocke are featured in the X-Force comics, some have speculated that both characters may be featured in this movie. Deadpool comic book creator Rob Liefeld has teased in the past that writer-director Jeff Wadlow's X-Force script does include Deadpool, but it isn't known for sure if Psylocke is included.

The X-Force movie has been in development for quite some time. Back in December, artist Greg Semkow tweeted out new artwork, which he says is based solely on Jeff Wadlow's completed script. It features team leader Cable, who is Cyclops' son and endowed with telepathy powers. Also included are Domino, an expert marksman with enhanced reflexes, making him an expert in hand-to-hand combat. Warpath, a Native American who has regenerative healing abilities and super strength. And Finally, there is Cannonball, who can create force fields and flies with jet propulsion.

Over the weekend, we reported that Deadpool will have two post-credits scenes, one of which was shown during press screenings, while the other was saved for the theatrical release starting February 12. Screenwriter Rhett Reese and Deadpool comic book creator Rob Liefeld both confirmed the presence of this second mystery scene, but they wouldn't offer any details about what it will show. It's possible that Olivia Munn's Psylocke could show up in this second scene, but that hasn't been confirmed. What do you think about Ryan Reynolds' X-Force comments?
