Director Bryan Singer wants his cast in fighting shape for X-Men: Apocalypse. He has hired Canadian Bellator fighter and celebrity trainer Holly Lawson to get a few of his young actors ready for battle. Holly Lawson is offering fans a quick glimpse into her world, with a look at just how grueling this process will be over the next few weeks.

In the photo, we see Alexandra Shipp, who will take on the younger version of Storm, and Sophie Turner, who plays a teenage Jean Grey, as they prepare for their enrollment at Xavier's School for the Gifted. Apparently, both Storm and Jean Grey will be engaged in some close-contact fighting at some point in X-Men: Apocalypse. We don't really get to see what either actress will eventually look like once they climb into their costumes, but the film is taking place in the 80s, so we can expect to see something resembling the Marvel comics of that era.

The upcoming franchise sequel promises to be one of the most Mutant-heavy movies yet. Other X-Men: Apocalypse newcomers include Oscar Isaac as the title villain, Tye Sheridan as young Cyclops and Kodi Smit-McPhee as young Nightcrawler. We don't yet know if they will also be put into combat and fight training. As the film is said to be the conclusion of the trilogy that started with X-Men: First Class and continued in X-Men: Days of Future Past, it is expected, yet not confirmed, that cast members James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Rose Byrne, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult and Evan Peters will all return to reprise their roles. Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, Halle Berry's old Storm and Channing Tatum's Gambit are expected to cameo. With Hugh Jackman just now declaring his last appearance as Wolverine, its doubtful he will participate. But you never know! Check it out as fight training gets underway:
