Director Bryan Singer has finally answered one of the biggest questions surrounding X-Men: Apocalypse. Will James McAvoy go bald as iconic Marvel mutant Professor Xavier? From the looks of this latest set photo, the answer is, 'Yes!'

Bryan Singer shared the latest set photo on his Instagram account, which shows James McAvoy getting his hair buzzed to the scalp. Fans have been waiting to see James McAvoy take on the full bald appearance of Professor X ever since he first appeared in 2011's X-Men: First Class. In X-Men: Days of Future Past, it didn't look like the telepath was losing his hair just yet. And as of now, it isn't known what causes Xavier's sudden hair loss on the big screen.

The X-Men: Apocalypse cast includes Oscar Isaac (Apocalypse), James McAvoy (Professor Xavier), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Lana Condor (Jubilee), Sophie Turner (Jean Grey), Alexandra Shipp (Storm), Olivia Munn (Psylocke), Ben Hardy (Angel) and Kodi Smit-McPhee (Nightcrawler). Bryan Singer is directing from a script by Simon Kinberg, with a May 27, 2016 release date already in place. Take a look at the photo below, and let us know what you think. Do you like this new bald look for the young Professor X? Or should they have allowed James McAvoy to keep his hair a little bit longer?
