Director Bryan Singer is well-known for sharing multiple photos from the set of his projects, as he did with last year's X-Men: Days of Future Past. As the filmmaker continues preparations for X-Men: Apocalypse, he sent out a new photo today from the Montreal set, just one day after another photo claimed something "new" will be revealed very soon. Like yesterday's image, which showed the door to Cerebro, this image features a look inside the Cerebro set, which is still in the early days of being constructed. The director's caption from his Twitter and Instagram pages also confirm that the movie is set in the year 1983.

We knew last year that the story would be set in the 1980s, but we didn't know the exact year until now. There is still very little we know about the story, except that it will feature Oscar Isaac as Apocalypse, Alexandra Shipp as Storm, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey and Tye Sheridan as Cyclops. Rose Byrne, who played Moira MacTaggert in X-Men: First Class is also returning. X-Men: First Class and X-Men: Days of Future Past stars James McAvoy (Professor X), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique) and Nicholas Hoult (Beast) are also expected to return.

Production is scheduled to start this April in Montreal, so we will likely have several months of behind-the-scenes photos from Bryan Singer to enjoy as X-Men: Apocalypse makes its way through pre-production and principal photography.
