UPDATE: The two viral sites included in this story were actually launched in conjunction with the Digital HD release of X-Men: Days of Future Past, available this week, and the Blu-ray and DVD releases coming October 14.

/x-men-apocalypse-director-bryan-singer/Earlier this week, Bryan Singer was officially confirmed to direct X-Men: Apocalypse. Today, two new viral sites have been launched for the movie. Though they do not contain any footage from the actual Marvel Mutant adventure itself, we do get a couple of promo photos and a video looking at the military's search for 'Homo Sapiens Superior', which shows off some of the mutant powers that may be on display in X-Men: Apocalypse.

The first X-Men: Apocalypse viral site is Tandem Inititive, which is looking for the world's most gifted. To check out the site: CLICK HERE. You can share a short text description on why you think you might have superhuman abilities, with the site asking you to include a photo of yourself exhibiting your power. Nominees' stories will be shared on the Tandem Inititive, with the genome sequencing winners being announced later this month.

The second site takes a more militant stance on the affliction. M-Underground stands to expose the anti-mutant population, revealing those who wish to create a rift between humans and the genetically gifted. The site contains reports and videos showing how mutants have been set up to appear as a threat to humanity. To check out the site: CLICK HERE.

At M-Underground, you will find a report on the 'Kennedy Curse', which goes onto prove that John F. Kennedy wasn't the only mutant in the family. A new video shows off the 'Homo Sapiens Superior' Video Codex, which was hacked off the Tandem Servers. It appears to be some sort of research reel of scientists, news clips, and mutants in action, all painted to make it look like mutants are a threat to humanity. The Tandem propaganda machine begins!
