Following the sneak peek and EW magazine cover from earlier today, we have a new behind-the-scenes featurette for X-Men: Days of Future Past, featuring director Bryan Singer. The filmmaker, who helped build the franchise directing X-Men and X2: X-Men United, reveals that he was excited to return because it meant the chance to work with both the younger cast of 2011's X-Men: First Class, and their present-day counterparts from the original X-Men trilogy. He also goes onto discuss the time travel elements of this story. The filmmaker mentions that, for the younger stars, when they first stepped on the Cerebro set, they felt like they were making an X-Men movie for the first time. We also get plenty of behind-the-scenes footage along with new scenes from this highly-anticipated superhero sequel, in theaters May 23.
