Over the long holiday weekend, the final X-Men prequel X-Men: Apocalypse hit theaters, which featured the eighth franchise appearance of Hugh Jackman's Wolverine. The actor is currently filming his final movie as Logan, Wolverine 3, which is set to hit theaters next March. Before you go see X-Men: Apocalypse in theaters again, a new video has surfaced which breaks down all of Wolverine's kills throughout this beloved franchise, and the number may be higher than you think.

This kill count video comes courtesy of Mr. Sunday Movies, which covers all of Wolverine's "direct and indirect murders" from X2: X-Men United, X-Men: The Last Stand, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, X-Men: First Class and X-Men: Days Of Future Past. We're not sure why the original X-Men or 2013's The Wolverine was left out of this video, but this kill count even includes the bears that Logan has killed throughout his 16-year run as Wolverine.

The end of this video even pokes fun at Wolverine's "killing" of Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, taking one kill off the list while showing the scene where Deadpool opens his eyes at the end of that movie. Of course, Ryan Reynolds went on to reprise this now-iconic role in his very own Deadpool movie earlier this year, which poked fun at both Hugh Jackman and his Wolverine character several times throughout the superhero action comedy.

This video doesn't include X-Men: Apocalypse either, so there may be an updated version of this video debuting in the near future. We reported last week that Hugh Jackman was originally supposed to have a much larger role as Wolverine in this most recent installment, but he is seen at the Weapon X facility at Alkali Lake, killing several of the facility's soldiers. The final kill count ends up at 90, but it will surely be much higher after both X-Men: Apocalypse and Wolverine 3 are factored in. We'll have to wait and see.

It has widely been rumored that Wolverine 3 may introduce the popular mutant X-23, after a casting call surfaced believed to be for this character. Since Hugh Jackman is walking away from the Wolverine role, X-23 may serve as his replacement in future X-Men movies, but we don't know for sure. While we wait for more on the future of this X-Men franchise, take a look at the Wolverine kill count video below.
