Xenon Pictures has bought the rights to Snoop Dogg's Hood of Horror.

The film was part of this year's LA Film Festival and features three blood-soaked tales involving the residents of an inner-city neighborhood whose actions in this life determine their destination in the afterlife; The Hollywood Reporter adds there are anime sequences created by Madhouse under the supervision of Oscar-winning visual effects supervisor John Gaeta (the "Matrix" trilogy). Hood of Horror stars Snoop Dogg, Ernie Hudson, Danny Trejo, Method Man, Jason Alexander and Billy Dee Williams as well as such sports notables as the NBA's Lamar Odom and Tayshaun Prince and the NFL's Teyo Johnson, Justin Fargas and Glenn Cadrez.

Snoop Dogg's Hood of Horror tentatively has a fall release schedule followed by a spring 2007 DVD release.
