Back in April, Invincible Pictures announced it had picked up distribution rights for Kevin Smith's second installment of his True North Trilogy, Yoga Hosers, which is set to hit theaters July 29. Before the theatrical release, it was revealed that the director will hit the road with a summer tour, bringing this movie all across the country for early screenings, which kicks off today in New Orleans. The first trailer was released last month, but now that the tour is starting tonight, we have the first poster and a new photo, featuring stars Harley Quinn Smith and Lily-Rose Depp, the daughters of Kevin Smith and their co-star Johnny Depp.

15-year-old yoga-nuts Colleen Collette and Colleen McKenzie love their smart phones and hate their after school job at Manitoban convenience store Eh-2-Zed. But when an ancient evil rises from beneath Canada's crust and threatens their big invitation to a Grade 12 party, the Colleens join forces with the legendary man-hunter from Montreal named Guy Lapointe (Johnny Depp) to fight for their lives with all seven Chakras, one Warrior Pose at a time. Invincible Pictures' Yoga Hosers features Harley Quinn Smith and Lily-Rose Depp reprising their roles from Kevin Smith's 2014 film Tusk. The poster also features a number of sausage monsters dubbed Bratzis, who will be played by Kevin Smith himself.

The supporting cast includes Justin Long, Austin Butler, Adam Brody, Ralph Garman, Tony Hale, Natasha Lyonne, Haley Joel Osment, Vanessa Paradis, Tyler Posey, Genesis Rodriguez, Jennifer Schwalbach and Jason Mewes. Just before the release date was announced, Kevin Smith scored another big victory with the MPAA, who had originally given Yoga Hosers an R rating, but overturned their own ruling and gave the filmmaker a PG-13 rating, without an official appeal. The director had previously won appeals for Clerks and Zack and Miri Make a Porno, which were both originally given an NC-17 rating, but given an R rating upon appeal.

The Yoga Hosers tour will continue with a June 2 stop at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall in Ponte Vedra, Florida. The tour continues on June 6 at the Houston Improv in Houston, Texas, followed by a screening at the Studio 35 Cinema & Drafthouse in Columbus, Ohio on June 12. The final three dates of the tour are July 8 at The Carolina Theatre in Durham, North Carolina, July 12 at The Improv in San Jose, California and July 17 at the Cobbs Comedy Club in San Francisco, California.

Back in September, Kevin Smith teased that his final True North movie, Moose Jaws, could feature the death of his beloved on-screen character Silent Bob. The actor/director is expected to make sequels Clerks III and Mallrats 2 in the near future as well, and since both those movies featured both Jay and Silent Bob, we'll have to see if they'll both be back for those sequels.
