Lionsgate has finalized a deal to develop a feature for the YouTube pranksters known as The Janoskians (YouTube.com/User/Janoskians).

The group's members, Beau Brooks, Jai Brooks, Luke Brooks, Daniel Sahyounie and James Yammouni, will star in this partially-scripted comedy, which follows The Janoskians as they transition from Australia to Los Angeles, and go on a quest to throw the biggest party ever. The movie will also be filled with public pranks and stunts.

Here's what Beau Brooks had to say in a statement.

"In our wildest dreams we never thought we would end up working with a company like Lionsgate. They take risks, break rules and make epic movies. We can't wait to take our pranks and jokes to the next level. We know we are lucky, and we will make the most of it, we promise you."

Danny Lee (Rock Fresh) is directing from a script by Dan Ahdoot (Super Fun Night), with Brian Robbins and the group's manager Jeremy Skaller producing.

The Janoskians made their debut on YouTube in 2011, exploding in popularity over the past few years, with over 15 million followers and 200 million views on their YouTube channel. They also had a sold-out tour through LiveNation last year, along with an Android/iPhone app dubbed Ouch! Couch and a record deal with Universal Atlantic. Their appearances at malls around the world have resulted in evacuations and shutdowns because of security and crowd control issues.
