The story of the Von Erich family has led to discussions by horror fans over the years speculating that they may have been cursed. While Kevin Von Erich is still with us, he is the only one of Fritz's sons who didn't die at a young age. Kevin's older brother Jack Jr. died when he was just six due to a freak accident in 1959. Meanwhile, 23-year-old Mike Von Erich and 21-year-old Chris Von Erich both died by suicide as well, respectively in 1987 and 1991. Their story has been covered in the Vice documentary series Dark Side of the Ring which delves into the pro wrestling business's darkest moments.

The Iron Claw does not yet have a release date.
