Zoe Bell, best known for her acting stint in Quentin Tarantino's "Death Proof", has just signed on for her first lead role. According to The Hollywood Reporter, she will be appearing in an untitled action flick for Marco Weber's Senator Entertainment.

Bell will play a U.S. soldier just home from her tour of duty in Iraq. Bored, she decided to help a young girl that has found herself in a bit of trouble. Weber came up with the original idea, and will co-write the screenplay with Sarah Thorpe.

Bell stated, "This film is a big challenge for me, especially the American accent, which I have to work on. But one thing is certain: I will be doing all my own stunts on the film."

The project does not have a set start date at this time.
