Zoolander 2 is one much talked about and long rumored comedy sequel that may soon see the light of day. Despite /paramount-pictures-passing-on-zoolander-2/Paramount Pictures passing on the follow-up back in May, that hasn't stopped creator Ben Stiller from forging ahead with the proposed project. In a recent interview, the comedic actor/director revealed to MTV that a script is finished and that he foresees shooting taking place sometime next year, which would mark the ten year anniversary of the first movie, released in 2001.

Here's what Stiller had to say:

"We're working on it, we're working on it. Hopefully next year we're going to be making it. But we've been full steam ahead on it."

As previously reported, Ben Stiller co-wrote the sequel with Iron Man 2's Justin Theroux. Jonah Hill is also confirmed to have met with Stiller about appearing in Zoolander 2 as the sequel's villain.
